Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage and maintain production and non-production databases.
- →Design physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security administration.
- →Perform backup and recovery on Database Management Systems.
- →Configure database parameters and prototype designs against logical data models.
- →Define data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing requirements.
- →Optimize database access and allocate/re-allocate database resources for optimal configuration and performance.
- →Support multiple services and multiple databases of medium to high complexity.
- →Ensure control, integrity, and accessibility of data across various platforms.
- →Work on multiple projects as a project leader or advisor.
- →Coach junior technical staff as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with various database management systems in design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and administration.
- Experience working in a multiple platform environment with medium to high complexity databases.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize database resources effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
