Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Recommend and establish IT procurement strategies, processes, and procedures.
- →Execute systematic processes for timely and cost-effective purchasing of IT products and services.
- →Manage the IT procurement function, including purchase orders, vendor negotiations, and invoice coordination.
- →Oversee the full cycle of IT purchases, agreements, and contracts from initiation to completion.
- →Manage supplier relationships and service level agreements with vendors.
- →Act as a liaison between IT and vendors for dispute resolution.
- →Evaluate supplier base for cost-saving opportunities.
- →Identify and engage new suppliers to support IT requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of business experience, including managing teams in asset management, procurement, or finance.
- Experience in middle-level management, working under the direction of senior management.
- Ability to manage and mentor supervisors, project leads, and technical staff.
- Proven experience in handling multiple, complex projects as a leader and subject matter expert.
- Strong communication skills, frequently collaborating with senior leadership such as CIO, CFO, or Chief Sourcing Officer.
