Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage the development and delivery of IT security standards and best practices.
- →Implement processes and methods for auditing and ensuring compliance with information security standards.
- →Facilitate the migration of non-compliant environments to compliant environments.
- →Conduct studies within and outside the organization to ensure compliance with industry security norms.
- →Manage and participate in security administration planning and implementation for all IT projects.
- →Evaluate and select security applications and systems.
- →Recommend and assist in implementing changes to work methods and procedures to enhance security measures.
- →Ensure the protection of corporate intellectual capital, especially where databases/applications are accessed by customers or vendors.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of IT work experience with exposure to business planning, systems analysis, and applications development.
- Experience in managing teams and projects for information security management.
- Middle-level management experience, working under the general direction of senior management.
- Experience managing and mentoring supervisors, project leads, and technical staff.
- Proven ability to lead multiple complex projects as a project leader and subject matter expert.
- Frequently reports to senior positions such as Corporate Security Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, Chief Technology Officer, or IT Chief Operating Officer.
