We are seeking a Lease Accounting - Senior Accountant who will play a critical role supporting the technical accounting activities at CoreWeave, Inc.  This role will report to the Lease Operations Technical Accounting Manager and will be a part of the team that is critical to the company’s success. 

The Lease Accounting - Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the technical team accounting, including controlling and verifying financial transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.

The ideal candidate will have a forward-thinking approach to efficient accounting processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and the ability to communicate deliverables and recommendations. In this role, you can expect to:

  • Perform financial accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
  • Manage accounting processes, accounting activities, including reconciling key records, and ensuring proper accounting treatment for lease related transactions
  • Support internal and external reporting and analysis efforts by preparing financial reports, SEC quarterly and annual disclosures, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to management to facilitate decision-making
  • Assist with reviews of key non-standard, judgmental, and complex transactions 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within accounting and asset management processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls related to financial accounting and asset management activities
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support to auditors during audit engagements
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing accounting expertise and insights to support business objectives and strategic initiatives

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2+ years of accounting, Big 4 public accounting a plus.
  • General knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX controls.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to achieve results.
  • Excellent organizational, time and self-management skills & ability to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive attitude that embraces challenges and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Applicants must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
  • CPA, or CMA candidate a plus
  • You love to tackle complex, ambiguous problems and developing innovative solutions where no clear answer exists
  • You’re curious about process improvement, constantly seeking opportunities to optimize workflows and make things better.
  • You’re an expert in organization and project management, ensuring all moving pieces stay aligned and initiatives drive toward successful completion.

The base salary range for this role is $98,000 to $130,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
