Requirements
~1 min read- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 7 years relevant experience in land surveying with a specific focus on transit projects
- Proficiency in utilizing GPS, total stations, and other surveying tools
- Ability to interpret transit-specific maps, blueprints, and survey documents
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in transit-related survey work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively within transit project teams
- Proficiency in specialized surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Trimble, customized for transit projects
- Possession of certification as a Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with a focus on transit surveying would be advantageous.
- Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions, typical of transit project sites
- Capacity to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds to facilitate transit surveys
- Comfort with prolonged periods of walking, standing, and bending during transit survey operations

Salary Range: $84,921- $96,743 YR
