Job Summary:
The Data Analyst – Seed Production role is responsible for delivering data analysis, reporting, and insights that support seed production operations across Field and Plant environments. This position works closely with field, plant operations, and supply chain teams to transform operational and agronomic data into actionable insights that drive efficiency, quality, yield improvement, and decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret seed production data from Field and Plant operations, including yield, quality, cycle time, losses, and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support seed production planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
• Partner with Field Production, Plant Operations, and Supply Chain teams to translate business questions into data requirements and analytical outputs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, variances, and root causes using data driven analysis.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across seed production datasets.
• Maintain and evolve data definitions, metadata, and documentation related to seed production metrics.
• Support integration and usage of data from enterprise systems, production systems, and external data sources.
• Provide analytical support for planning cycles, operational reviews, and performance discussions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standardized metrics and KPIs for Seed Production (Field & Plant).
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Agronomy, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably supporting manufacturing, agriculture, seed production, or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar).
• Experience translating business needs into structured data analysis and insights.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non technical stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate properly in English, Spanish is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Seed Production, Field Operations, Plant Operations, or Agricultural Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, production execution systems, or agricultural data platforms).
• Experience working in a multinational or regional (LATAM) environment.
• Understanding of production KPIs such as yield, efficiency, quality, losses, and throughput.
