Come join our team in the role of Regional Product Manager! AgVenture, Inc. (AVI) has an opportunity for you to join its product team as a Regional Product Manager. Regional Product Managers are the primary product-related contact for our independent seed companies (ISCs). Successful product managers build relationships with ISC staff, understand their product needs and communicate regional needs with AVI and Corteva product teams. They evaluate IMPACT locations to understand local product performance, assist with product lifecycle decisions and ultimately transfer product knowledge to ISCs to guide product use and placement. Territory will include Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Northern Nebraska What you will do: Product Evaluation and Lifecycle Management * Collect data and observations of commercial and pre-commercial seed products in Corteva IMPACT and on-farm demonstration trials. * Provide performance evaluations of seed products and related technologies. * Understand and communicate product gaps and needs of the ISCs in your region. * Represent your region and ISCs in the product lifecycle, advancement, and commercialization process. * Collaborate with ISC owners and managers, MCS product team, local IMPACT testing teams and Corteva crop breeders. Product Training and Support * Lead the product training effort for your region. Communicate product characteristics, positioning, and management practices to ISC owners, managers and sales staff. * Present new launch candidates to ISCs in a clear and compelling manner. * Advise and coach ISCs during the annual demand/crop planning process. * Present, with the product team, at companywide product training events. * Assist in the creation of the AVI product data summaries, tech sheets and seed guides. * Support ISCs as needed in customer service cases. Other Responsibilities * Facilitate the message of AVI’s Maximum Profit System of crop management. * Support marketing initiatives through in-field content creation and product summaries. * Personalized areas of focus could include agronomy or marketing resource management, agronomy trial management, Maximum Profit System specialist What You'll Need: Education – Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree in Agronomy or a similar discipline is preferred. Experience – Five years of agricultural product management, sales and/or agronomy experience. Visa sponsorship and/or International Relocation are NOT available for this position. Competency Demonstrated knowledge of: * Crop production practices * Seed product and/or agronomic testing and evaluation * Corteva products and their position in the marketplace Demonstrated skills in: * Teaching, training and public speaking * Conflict resolution and handling objections * Using Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and other computer software. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
