The Role
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially experienced Senior Consultant to join the Enterprise Insights and Investment team.
The team helps innovative businesses strengthen their commercial foundations, overcome barriers to growth, scale successfully and access the relationships, expertise and investment they need to realise their potential.
As a team we support earlier stage businesses to validate their propositions, establish effective business models, route-to-market strategies and prepare for future growth, and growth-stage businesses that have demonstrated early market potential and are seeking to scale.
Drawing on first-hand experience of building, growing or working closely with entrepreneurial businesses, the Senior Consultant will provide practical, evidence-led support to founders and leadership teams. This may include business model development, growth strategy, customer and market validation, go-to-market planning, organisational scaling, partnership development and investment readiness.
As the team's offer develops, they may also be opportunities to contribute to new propositions such as venture-building activity.

- Deliver targeted, practical commercial support to SMEs through structured analysis, workshops and one-to-one engagement, helping founders and leadership teams address barrier to growth and scaling.
- Support SMEs to validate and refine their value proposition, business models, customer propositions and go-to-market strategies.

- Conduct market and industry analysis, including market sizing, customer and competitor assessment, and strategic insight, to inform SME growth plans, commercial decisions and investment propositions.
- Support SMEs to strengthen the commercial narrative, evidence and materials underpinning their growth and potential fundraising plans.
- Work collaboratively with CPCs fund and investment expertise to ensure SMEs receive appropriate aligned specialist support, and where relevant, access to suitable investors or funding partners.
