Key Responsibilities Assist the Senior Geologist in preliminary screening, technical evaluation, and due diligence of mining projects. Participate in field reconnaissance, geological surveys, sampling, and on-site data collection for mineral projects in Côte d'Ivoire. Support the planning and execution of mineral exploration programs, including geological mapping, trenching, drilling coordination, and sample management. Collect, organize, and analyze information on mineral resources, project opportunities, industry trends, and policy developments across different regions of Côte d'Ivoire. Assist in communication and coordination with local government authorities, mining regulatory bodies, partners, communities, and service providers. Contribute to the preparation of site visit reports, geological technical reports, exploration progress reports, and project evaluation memos. Help identify potential project risks, including geological, compliance, licensing, and field execution risks. Perform other related tasks assigned by the company and the Senior Geologist. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in Geology, Mineral Exploration, Resource Exploration Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mining, geological investigation, mineral exploration, or related industries. Familiar with mining conditions across Côte d'Ivoire, including major minerals, resource distribution, key mining regions, and industry developments. Good understanding of Côte d'Ivoire's mining laws and regulations, mineral rights administration, government approval processes, and regulatory practices. Strong field geology experience and ability to adapt to long-term or frequent field assignments in West Africa. Capable of mineral project evaluation, geological surveys, sampling, data compilation, and technical report preparation. Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with government agencies, local partners, communities, and technical teams. Responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong execution ability, teamwork spirit, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with gold, manganese, iron ore, lithium, nickel, or other mineral projects in Côte d'Ivoire or West Africa is preferred. Familiarity with local mining authorities, mineral license application procedures, and mining project cooperation models is preferred. Proficiency in French and English is preferred.
