What you'll be doing: •Support the full project lifecycle — from planning and mobilisation through to delivery and close-out — making sure targets are hit on time and within budget. • Help to build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, keeping the whole team aligned and accountable. • Track project financials closely; monitor costs, flag risks early, and work with finance to keep spending in check. • Manage procurement and contract administration with local and international suppliers and subcontractors. • Ensure full compliance with environmental, safety, and labour regulations at all times. • Identify and manage project risks proactively, putting mitigation plans in place before issues escalate. • Support community relations and local content requirements as part of the project's operating licence. Requirements Who we're looking for: Must-haves: • Degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. • Proven track record managing projects in mining, natural resources, or heavy industry. • 2-3 years of experience working in West Africa (preferably in Cote d’Ivoire), having knowledge of the country's regulatory and cultural landscape is a major advantage. • Fluent in French and English. • Understand project financials, cost control, and contract management. • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal across all levels. Good to have: • Familiarity with CNPS (Caisse Nationale de Prévoyance Sociale) registration and local labour compliance processes. • Experience engaging with local government ministries and local communities. • Knowledge of HSE standards applicable to mining operations in local jurisdiction. • Prior experience managing expat and local workforce combinations.
