Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Responsibilities

- →Provide proactive guidance and coaching to leaders on employee‑relations matters, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
- →Collaborate with leaders to develop, implement, and monitor performance improvement plans.
- →Promote positive employee relations by maintaining confidentiality, building trust, and balancing organizational and employee needs.
- →Support and manage the onboarding and separation processes to ensure compliance and a positive employee experience.
- →Execute HR programs, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives and overall business strategy.
- →Partner with HR colleagues, Legal, leadership, and cross‑functional departments to promote consistent and compliant HR practices across operating companies.
- →Analyze HR metrics and trends to recommend and develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- →Assist with developing and maintaining training programs that support organizational needs.
- →Ensure day‑to‑day HR practices comply with federal, state, and local laws.
- →Maintain strong and current knowledge of the Service Contract Act (SCA) and Davis‑Bacon Act (DBA) and ensure HR practices remain compliant.
- →Maintain visibility across the organization to foster strong employee‑management relationships, high morale, and a constructive culture.
Requirements
~3 min read- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Active HR certification (SHRM‑CP, PHR, SHRM‑SCP, SPHR) a plus
- Required Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible HR experience; at least three (3) years in an HRBP or equivalent consultative role
- Experience handling sensitive and complex employee relations matters from start to finish
- Experience supporting SCA and DBA workforces preferred
- Union or union represented workforce experience highly preferred
- Government contracting experience strongly preferred
- ANC/Tribal experience and/or 8(a) experience preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems; Paycor preferred
- Required Skill and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and federal/state labor laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
