We’re hiring a Senior Rust Engineer to our Accounting squad to lead the technical development powering cost basis and PnL computations, staking, derivatives, accruals, and high-volume reporting pipelines. In this role, you’ll tackle complex accounting challenges at the forefront of digital assets and traditional finance. You’ll build the backbone for regulatory compliance, reporting, and audit readiness in the crypto sector, making a measurable impact for the world’s most innovative financial players.

  Lead the development of core systems for Cryptio's SaaS accounting platform, ensuring robust and scalable customer workflows

  Architect, optimise, and maintain data-heavy solutions for financial reporting, reconciliation, and ledger automation

  Collaborate with staff engineers, product, and other teams to deliver features aligned with customer and business needs

  Identify, troubleshoot, and proactively resolve performance issues at scale

  Mentor and support the growth of engineers across the squad

• →

  Contribute to codebase reliability by documenting best practices and enabling knowledge sharing across the company

• Ships production software in Rust; owns systems end to end

• Cares deeply about performance, correctness, and trade-offs

• Builds and debugs data-intensive, performance-critical systems

• Interested in crypto and financial/accounting systems

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL

• Communicates clearly in English; collaborates well with other engineers

• Mentors, reviews code, and shares technical context

• Thinks analytically; motivated to build core crypto-finance infrastructure

• Own the development of mission-critical infrastructure in a fast-evolving industry

• Collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers and cross-functional partners

• Work with cutting-edge technologies in cloud-native, data-heavy environments (Rust, TypeScript, ClickHouse, AWS)
