1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM ; Friday OT hours required as needed
Salary Grade B
$18.50 - $20.90
The Clamp Operator is responsible for assembling Frameless cabinets using the automated clamp.
- Starts clamp in accordance with start-up procedure.
- Selects the appropriate program for cabinets being run.
- Assembles and glues cabinets.
- Activates clamp to feed cabinet in and out.
- Staples cabinet backs.
- Attaches protective bumpers.
- Attaches back stretchers with spray glue on frameless Current cabinets.
- Retrieves adjustable shelves, blind panels and other parts with cabinets.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
- Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
- Fills in other areas as needed.
