We are leading a consortium to build the EuroHPC Federation Platform (EFP) to eventually be the common interface for all supercomputers, AI factories, and quantum computers across the EU. The EFP consists of several open-source components, which are deployed and hosted on an internal hosting platform provided by CSC, and its main features are:
A single federated identity across all systems
Uniform access to all federated systems
Advanced features (e.g. combined workflows and interactive usage)
Resource and allocation management across the federation targets
We are now looking for a Platform Administrator to join our Computing Environments group in Espoo to maintain and operate the core of the EuroHPC Federation Platform.
Your main responsibilities include:
Operations, maintenance, and support for the internal hosting platform of the EFP consortium
Main components: Gitlab, Argo CD, Kubernetes
Main tasks: monitoring, logging, updates, backups, configuration management, developer support
Involvement in the continuous improvement of the platform
Involvement in ISO27001 and NIS2 compliance
What we expect
To be successful in the role, you need:
Solid system administration skills
Fluent written and spoken communication in English
Strong technical communication
Security-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and priorities
We also value:
Experience with Kubernetes and GitOps
Experience with system automation tooling (such as Ansible)
Ability to write some code or Python/shell/etc. scripts every now and then
Familiarity with ISO 27001, or NIS2, is a major advantage
