The Nature & Natural Capital Strategy Division is seeking to appoint an Administration Support Officer to provide support to the Threatened Species and Ecosystems Policy branch.
The Administrative Support Officer provides essential business coordination and administration services to support the work of the independent Threatened Species Scientific Committee in accordance with Division/Agency and cluster wide policies and procedures.
You will perform various administrative support tasks including the collation of information for Committee meetings; supporting the Committee in organising and scheduling meetings; actioning Committee meeting outcomes, including sending correspondence to stakeholders and publishing web content; assisting with monitoring and organising a shared team mailbox; uploading and managing records, assisting with responding to and resolving complex enquiries and issues in a timely and effective manner; and organisational support for the division (refer role description for full details).
This is an excellent opportunity to develop a broad understanding of the division and its operations as you participate in a wide range of administrative and reporting activities that support the protection of threatened species in NSW.
- Experience in the provision of administration and business support services with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of and proven ability to interpret and apply government protocols and administration policies, processes and procedures or NSW legislation.
- Experience in computer-based systems including Content Manager (CM10) or similar content management systems.

Administration Support Officer
