The Strategic Procurement team within the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is currently seeking to appoint two Procurement Support Officers.
About the role
As a Procurement Support Officer, you will report to the Procurement Manager and use your procurement experience to help stakeholders plan, source and manage procurement arrangements that support business objectives.
You will deliver efficient, high-quality procurement services, identify and escalate risks, and provide guidance on procurement policy, process and governance requirements. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role with opportunities to learn and grow in a large, complex environment.
About You
To be successful you’ll need:
- Experience delivering end-to-end sourcing across general goods and services, construction and ICT.
- Strong knowledge of NSW Government or public sector procurement frameworks.
- Experience advising on market approaches, procurement strategies, tenders and contracts.
- Confidence engaging stakeholders and providing clear, practical advice.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail in procurement documentation and reporting.
