About the Role

National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique career opportunity for a Project Officer to join our Property and Lease Management team.

As a Project Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the management of a diverse portfolio of leases and licences across Kosciuszko National Park. The portfolio includes major alpine resorts, commercial visitor facilities, accommodation providers, community organisations and other occupancies that support visitor experiences within the park.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to progress a broad range of leasing and licensing matters. This includes preparing and managing agreements, monitoring compliance with obligations, coordinating approvals, undertaking stakeholder engagement, and providing advice on the management of the property portfolio within the park.

 

You will bring experience in property management, leasing or a related field, together with strong communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving skills.

You will be comfortable working with a diverse range of stakeholders, preparing and managing documentation, reports and correspondence, interpreting and applying legislation, policies, procedures and contractual requirements, and effectively managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

You will have a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to build productive relationships and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.
