This is an opportunity to contribute to initiatives that support housing delivery, planning reform and thriving communities across NSW while building strong partnerships with executives and business leaders.

Provide trusted financial and business advisory support to senior leaders across Planning as a Senior Business Advisor with our department. You will help drive informed decision-making through budget management, forecasting, labour analytics, financial reporting and business performance insights, and be comfortable communicating with senior leaders on a regular basis.

Working closely with stakeholders, you will influence strategic outcomes by delivering high-quality analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the development of business cases, funding proposals and financial initiatives.

We know you pride yourself on developing and preparing monthly financial management and dashboard reports and financial statements providing financial performance, accounting, savings target and business monitoring and analysis to support management to understand and make decisions about current and future business performance which is why you would be great in this role!

Bring your knowledge of and experience in financial management and accounting principles and practices relevant experience and/or tertiary qualification and eligibility for membership of a recognised professional accounting body such as CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (essential).
