About the Role
~1 min readThe Conservation Programs, Heritage and Regulation Group is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Project Officer - Strategic Initiatives to manage and coordinate the development and implementation of branch priorities within the Ecosystems and Threatened Species branch. This includes developing and implementing branch communication and engagement initiatives, coordinating strategic projects, and providing advice that enables effective planning and alignment to connect people to priorities and decisions.
You are a collaborative and proactive project professional who enjoys bringing people, ideas and priorities together to improve organisation outcomes. You will have strong communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and work effectively across teams with different perspectives and priorities. You are comfortable working in a changing environment, using initiative and sound judgement to identify opportunities, navigate complexity and turn strategic priorities into practical outcomes. You will be confident working with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, and able to communicate clearly, influence constructively and bring people together around shared business goals. You are someone who enjoys improving how an organisation works, collaborates and delivers.
Requirements

DCCEEW conserves and protects the state’s natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate, including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.
DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state, to support the environment, communities and industry.
