As a Senior Security Compliance Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping DPHI maintain a strong and trusted cyber security posture. You'll work across a broad range of systems, services and technologies, providing expert advice to ensure security requirements are embedded in the way we design, operate and improve our digital environment.

 

You'll partner with technology teams, business stakeholders and external providers to monitor compliance, manage security risks, support audits and reviews, and drive continuous improvement. This is a role where your expertise will directly contribute to protecting information, reducing risk and enabling better outcomes for the people and communities we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Excellent ability to translate complex security and compliance concepts into advice that people can easily understand and act on
  • Excellent writing skills and experience in writing policies and standards
  • Strong experience assessing risk, monitoring compliance and identifying practical opportunities for improvement
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine willingness to work across teams to achieve shared outcomes
  • Sound judgement and the confidence to provide trusted advice in complex and changing environments
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with emerging cyber security trends, frameworks and standards
  • The ability to build positive relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A focus on quality outcomes, attention to detail and continuous improvement
  • Prior experience in the public sector and related relevant legislation such as the NSW Cyber Security Policy is a plus
  • Prior experience implementing and/or auditing ISO27001 is a plus

 

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information technology or a related technical field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
