Estimator

• Prepare, present and deliver tenders up to $20M
• Industry experience, principal contracting background advantageous
• Remediation, building and façade and defence projects

Ensuring accurate, timely and quality tender estimates/cost plans are developed for submission on various building, façade, defence and remediation projects across our growing ACT division.  

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
• Manage the end-to-end tender process (pricing, suppliers, risks)
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Identify risks and provide value engineering solutions
• Ensure compliance, documentation, and governance standards
• Support team delivery and broader tendering activities
• Maintain strong supplier and subcontractor relationships

• Previous experience in estimating in Defence, Construction and/or building remediation
• Strong interpersonal skills, confidence, professionalism and self-motivation
• A strong financial and commercial acumen
• High level attention to detail and the ability to work to set timeframes while multitasking
• Capability to present your estimates to Senior Management for approval to submit
• Actively seek additional information or clarification through RFI’s to the Client to ensure a complete set of tender documents
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar equivalent
• Proficient in Pronamics Expert Estimation software desirable
