THE ROLE
Key responsibilities:

Conduct condition assessments of civil infrastructure and buildings
-
Apply and adapt recognised NDT techniques to project requirements
-
Build and manage client relationships and contribute to business development
-
Deliver materials durability and corrosion related assessments, including cathodic protection
-
Prepare remediation strategies and technical specifications
-
Collaborate with internal contracting teams to deliver integrated solutions
-
Adopt to digital deliver techniques (3D reality capture, digital defect management)
-
Support the development and trial of new technologies and methodologies
There will be a requirement for typically short-term travel to sites to fulfil project requirements.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience assessing concrete and/or steel structures (inspection, maintenance or remediation)
- Strong understanding of materials durability and degradation mechanisms (desirable)
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks, gaps and practical solutions
- Strong written communication skills for reporting and proposals
Requirements
~1 min read- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil / Structural or Materials Engineering, or similar related field;
- Relevant experience enabling you to have developed a range of relative knowledge and skills;
- A current Australian driver’s license
- Subject to a pre-employment medical and background checks.
