As an HSG Engineer, you’ll be the technical authority behind the implementation, configuration, and sustainment of Everfox (formerly Forcepoint) High Speed Guards—ensuring secure data flow across multiple networks and security domains. You’ll collaborate closely with mission stakeholders, system architects, and cybersecurity professionals to design, deploy, and troubleshoot innovative cross-domain security solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with mission stakeholders to collect requirements and translate them into secure, efficient implementation plans.

  • Leading and participating in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to design, whiteboard, and refine technical solutions.

  • Coordinating with technical and project management teams to define and execute implementation timelines.

  • Responding to and resolving system outages, performance issues, and technical queries in a timely, mission-focused manner.

  • Installing and maintaining firmware updates on critical infrastructure hardware (DellEMC, SANs, switches, etc.).

  • Monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting Everfox/Forcepoint High Speed Guard systems for peak performance.

  • Engineering, designing, and deploying custom rulesets for secure data transfers across classified networks.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Polygraph (post-hire requirement).

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 6+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure.

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC).

  • Proven hands-on experience with Everfox (Forcepoint) High Speed Guards (HSGs)—implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
