We are looking to hire a Loader/Unloader for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Indianapolis, IN. A Loader/Unloader has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs

Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers

Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)

Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)

Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers

Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably

Working well with a team!

Must have a VALID driver's license!!

Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)

Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening

Willingness to take a 7 year background check

Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately

Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems

Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards

Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE

Proven longevity with employers

Can-do attitude!!

Job stability – as an essential service to healthcare we are non-seasonal and recession proof.

Consistent work hours- Monday to Friday 1st Shift (5:30AM-3PM)

Benefits: Full time roles are provided benefits, sick leave and vacation leave from day one!

DIRECT HIRE – This is a Full-time DIRECT HIRE of 40 hours per week!

Competitive salary – This position is offering a set rate (non-Negotiable) of $19.00 per hour!
