As Area Vice President of GTM Sales for ASEAN, you will lead a dynamic, high-performing sales organisation responsible for driving top-line revenue across the region, acquiring new logos, and ensuring our existing clients continue to grow their use of Dataiku over time.
Reporting directly into the Regional SVP, you will lead a team of Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and an Enterprise GTM sales organisation, coaching and enabling them to perform at the highest level. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Pre-Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, and Data Science.
Responsibilities
- Drive top-line revenue growth across ASEAN territory through new logo acquisition and upsell motions, fostering adoption and expansion within existing accounts.
- Lead, coach, develop, and enable a customer-facing organisation of RVPs and Enterprise Account Executives, with dotted-line oversight of supporting GTM functions.
- Partner with the Regional SVP to define and execute the Go-To-Market strategy across ASEAN, including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and wider ASEAN markets.
- Project vertical growth, territory design, and partner strategy across the region. Drive alignment between GTM sales and marketing efforts.
- Build strong collaboration across a cross-functional GTM team of Sales Engineers, Partner Managers, Customer Success Managers, and Business Development Representatives.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract, recruit, and develop a team of top-tier high-performing Enterprise GTM sales professionals across ASEAN.
- Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key targets, strategic accounts, and executive stakeholders across diverse personas and industries.
- Forecast revenue accurately and maintain a high degree of transparency in pipeline management, pricing negotiations, and territory allocation.
- Represent Dataiku as a senior GTM leader in the region, building brand presence and executive relationships across the ASEAN ecosystem.
Success Profile
- 10+ years of enterprise GTM software sales experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth across ASEAN markets.
- At least 8 to 10 years of people management experience, including managing RVPs and leading multi-country enterprise GTM sales organisations.
- Deep understanding of the ASEAN commercial landscape, including cultural nuances, buying behaviours, and key market dynamics across ASEAN.
- Background in selling Data, AI, Analytics, or related innovation and technology concepts to large enterprises.
- Strong ability to develop vision alignment with prospects and customers, build champions, and navigate complex enterprise GTM sales cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale GTM organisations across multiple ASEAN markets simultaneously.
- Good articulation of competitive positioning within the Data and AI space.
- Domain expertise in big data, analytics, data science, BI/DW, or data integration preferred.
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively at C-suite level across diverse cultures and geographies.
- Adaptable, growth-oriented leader comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
