AI Researcher

We’re looking for an independent, curious AI researcher to join Datarails and help bring generative AI into high-precision financial workflows. You’ll turn research ideas into robust, production-grade features that meet finance’s strict correctness and auditability requirements.

Datarails is a SaaS B2B solution solving one of the biggest challenges in finance: transforming scattered Excel-based processes into streamlined, cloud-based systems. We help finance professionals gain control, clarity, and insight over their data - from reports to forecasts to deep analytics.

• →Own end-to-end projects: define the problem, prototype, evaluate, and deliver PoC/MVPs.
• →Research and build GenAI solutions, flows, and agents that reduce nondeterminism and produce numerically reliable outputs for financial use cases.
• →Design practical verification, monitoring, and fallback strategies so GenAI can be trusted in critical workflows.
• →Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ship and maintain production solutions.

• Strong foundation in data science / ML and comfortable writing production-quality code.
• Proven experience delivering ML/AI projects from research to production independently.
• Pragmatic problem solver with solid engineering practices (testing, code reviews, reproducibility).
• Eager to learn, conduct research, and stay at the cutting edge of GenAI.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator.

• Experience in finance or numerical systems, or familiarity with LLM/GenAI workflows.
• Advanced degree, publications, or open-source contributions.
