Responsibilities

You develop, implement and monitor environmental policies, procedures and improvement initiatives.

You ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permit conditions and reporting obligations.
- →
You coordinate environmental permit applications, registrations and interactions with regulatory authorities.
- →
You organize and support environmental audits, inspections and compliance assessments.
- →
You monitor environmental performance, risks and legal compliance across operational sites.
- →
You investigate environmental incidents and non-conformities and drive corrective actions.
- →
You identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability performance.
- →
You raise environmental awareness and promote a culture of environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
- →
Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent through experience.
- →
Certified Environmental Coordinator Level A, or willing to obtain the certification.
- →
3–5 years of relevant experience in environmental management, permitting, compliance or environmental consulting.
- →
Good knowledge of environmental legislation, permitting processes and regulatory reporting requirements.
- →
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex environmental topics into practical actions.
- →
Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French and English is an asset.
