JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for taking accurate measurements of existing structures & developing as built drawings.
Responsible for all computer aided design duties including design, drawing, replication and cataloged storage of architectural drawings and blueprints.
Responsible to transpose existing drawings and create accurate drawings of existing structures.
Responsible to reference Local, State and Federal construction codes as applicable.
Design new floor plans and interpretation of existing drawings.
Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
Performs all other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Two (2) or more years of experience with architectural drawing using AutoCAD version 2023.
Knowledge of commercial building construction methods, floor plans and structural codes to obtain permits is essential.
Field work experience collecting information for renovation design necessary.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position. American Sign Language is also an acceptable form of communication.
Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/or execute written, verbal and/or demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift Fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty.
Must be able to work in extremes of weather, on roofs, ladders, and scaffolding.
Must be able to remain flexible in an environment of constant change.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business including evenings, weekends and holidays.
