Senior Software Engineer

Working as a Software Engineer at Delinea means being a part of a highly capable, collaborative, and agile development team. Delinea is creating awesome software that's used by thousands of IT professionals all over the globe. This can be a remote/telecommute position based out of your home office. Reports to the Software Development Team Lead.

This position is based in Tel Aviv and will require being on-site in the office two to three days per business week.

  Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend microservices (primarily in Python) that power complex, high-volume systems used by leading enterprise customers.

  Build and enhance massive data processing pipelines and real-time event analysis components to deliver accurate and reliable insights at scale.

  Collaborate closely with the Product team to design and deliver new features — taking full ownership from idea and architecture to implementation and release.

  Work on performance optimizations across services and data flows to ensure our platform remains fast, efficient, and ready for scale.

  Leverage a diverse data stack, including relational databases (e.g., AzureSQL) and non-relational data stores such as Elasticsearch, to build data-driven features and ensure system reliability.

  Contribute to our AI-driven initiatives, integrating intelligent components into the platform and exploring how AI can improve performance and user experience.

  Take end-to-end responsibility for your work: define requirements, design solutions, write high-quality code, and see features through to production.

  Bring new ideas to the table - challenge assumptions, suggest improvements, and help drive the technical direction of our backend architecture.

  Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor teammates to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of backend development experience (Python preferred)

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Familiarity with microservices and container orchestration (Kubernetes)

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and data workflows

• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ)

• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control,
  testing, and code documentation.
