AI Solution Engineer – LAC (Brazil) - 12 months contractor

This is a contractor role embedded within small, high-performing delivery teams, where product ownership and execution are tightly integrated. In this role, you will:

• →Build functional AI-powered functional prototypes in 2–4 week cycles
• →Design and implement agentic workflows using LLM APIs, structured tool use, multi-step orchestration, and MCP integrations
• →Own the stack end to end: React/Next.js frontend, Python/Node.js backend, Supabase/PostGIS data layer, cloud deployment
• →Work with messy, real-world government datasets — structure them, clean them, make them queryable
• →Build systems that drive frontline action and institutional decisions
• →Set architecture standards, review code, and guide a Full-Stack Developer on implementation patterns
• →Create reusable component libraries and architecture templates that compound across government engagements

• Cloud certifications: Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML Specialty, or GCP Professional ML Engineer
• Previous work with government or public sector clients in Latin America
• Data & geospatial systems: experience working with geospatial data and tools (e.g., PostGIS, GeoJSON pipelines, mapping APIs), and the ability to incorporate spatial analysis into practical applications.
• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or similar) to support Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows is highly valued, including designing pipelines for embedding, storage, and retrieval in real-world use cases.
