This role is part of our Holding team based in the Netherlands. Our team is the driving force behind DEPT® composed of individuals who thrive on sales, business development, and fostering new opportunities. As part of our team, you'll be immersed in a diverse environment, collaborating with experts in Sales Operations, Finance, Hospitality, Recruitment, People, and Marketing.
In this role, you will be responsible for on-location IT Support Operations in the Netherlands with focus on the Rotterdam Office and wider local NL activities where required. You will partner closely with the Netherlands (NL) office management and provide support for important office meetings and activities.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Provide on-site IT support for the Rotterdam office (4 days per week).
- Establish and maintain standards, documentation, and best practices for office IT support.
- Ensure seamless technical setup and support for client meetings and internal events.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning, access management, and license coordination.
- Oversee relationships with local vendors and service providers, ensuring quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate and deliver local IT projects such as office upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and technology rollouts.
- Monitor and report on IT initiatives, project progress, and operational performance metrics.
- Analyze existing tools and processes to identify opportunities for consolidation, optimization, and standardization.
- Participate in global IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Translate global IT initiatives into effective local implementations.
- Support the development, integration, and continuous improvement of systems in collaboration with the Global IT team.
- Contribute actively to global IT meetings, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT engineering, IT support, or a related technical role.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based environments.
- Advanced knowledge of macOS administration and troubleshooting.
- Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Basic understanding of software licensing, security principles, and organizational IT governance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to host meetings, deliver presentations, and create clear documentation.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- A proactive mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a customer-focused approach.
