Retail Associate - Sephora (Part-Time)

Dermalogica is seeking a motivated, skin care savvy Retail Associate to contribute to our growing retail business by leading all sales and training initiatives at our Montreal and surrounding area Sephora locations. You will work to engage and excite both Beauty Advisors and clients alike. The Retail Associate will work with the Sephora Account Manager to uphold visual merchandising standards, provide quality sales support to achieve sales objectives for your designated Sephora location businesses, and supporting events throughout the assigned territory.
What you will do:
Support retail sales ‘on-stage’
- Approach clients, connect and engage in conversation to drive sales
- Achieve provided retail sales goals
- Encourage clients to “play”/try the product and experience a service while shopping in-store
- Ensure that Dermalogica products are neat and tidy and placed according to store planogram
- Adhere to dress code specifications as set by Sephora/Dermalogica
- Provide brand agnostic recommendations to the client and be prepared to support clients visiting other ‘worlds’ within the store
- Complete reports on promotional results, sales targets and qualitative feedback as needed
- Support the Sephora Accounts Manager as needed
Event Support
- Achieve retail sales goals
- Give Dermalogica concept such as Face Mapping Skin Analysis
- Seeking customers in-store to participate in the event
- Assist set up and pack down of event materials
- Portray the most polished and professional image to the client
- Complete reports on promotional results, sales targets and qualitative feedback
Administration Duties
- Complete Sephora & Dermalogica required reports after every store visit
- Adhere to calendar schedule managed by Sephora Account Manager to meet Dermalogica’s expectation of store visit frequency. Must communicate any scheduling conflicts in a timely manner, (24-48 hours once schedule is communicated).
- Responding to emails from the Sephora Account Manager in a timely manner
- Communicate store and stock concerns to Sephora Account Manager to support the business
Requirements
The successful candidate will be expected to represent Dermalogica’s clean and professional image at all times. A company dress and grooming code is to be followed at all times when representing Dermalogica in-store. This position requires the successful candidate to stand for long periods of time, the ability to lift heavy objects, carry equipment and materials is also necessary.
- Part-time, up to 20 hours weekly
- Must be able to work Thursday – Sunday shifts
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and French speaking) is required
- Minimum two years of proven sales success in luxury/beauty retail
- Experience in the Sephora retail environment is an asset
- Have excellent communication skills
- Possess energy, enthusiasm and a passion for the skin care industry
- Feel comfortable networking
- Be flexible and able to easily adapt in various situations
- Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Must be able to work Thursday – Sunday shifts

Dermalogica est à la recherche d’un(e) associé(e) aux ventes au détail motivé(e) et passionné(e) par les soins de la peau afin de contribuer à la croissance de son réseau de vente au détail en dirigeant les initiatives de vente et de formation dans les boutiques Sephora de Montréal et des environs.
Dans ce rôle, vous travaillerez à mobiliser et à enthousiasmer tant les conseiller(ère)s beauté que les client(e)s. Vous collaborerez avec le/la gestionnaire de compte Sephora afin de maintenir les normes de marchandisage visuel, de fournir un soutien aux ventes de qualité pour atteindre les objectifs commerciaux des boutiques Sephora de votre territoire et de soutenir différents événements promotionnels.
Ce que vous ferez
Soutien aux ventes en magasin
- Approcher les client(e)s, créer un lien et engager la conversation afin de stimuler les ventes.
- Atteindre les objectifs de ventes au détail qui vous sont fixés.
- Encourager les client(e)s à essayer les produits et à profiter d’un service pendant leur magasinage.
- Veiller à ce que les produits Dermalogica soient présentés de façon propre et ordonnée conformément au planogramme du magasin.
- Respecter le code vestimentaire établi par Sephora et Dermalogica.
- Fournir des recommandations impartiales quant aux marques et être prêt(e) à aider les client(e)s dans les autres sections du magasin.
- Remplir les rapports sur les résultats promotionnels, les objectifs de vente et les commentaires qualitatifs, au besoin.
- Soutenir le/la gestionnaire de compte Sephora selon les besoins.
Soutien aux événements
- Atteindre les objectifs de ventes au détail.
- Offrir les services et concepts Dermalogica, notamment l’analyse de la peau Face Mapping.
- Recruter des client(e)s en magasin afin qu’ils participent aux événements.
- Participer à l’installation et au démontage du matériel événementiel.
- Présenter une image professionnelle et soignée auprès de la clientèle.
- Remplir les rapports relatifs aux résultats promotionnels, aux objectifs de vente et aux commentaires qualitatifs.
Fonctions administratives
- Remplir les rapports requis par Sephora et Dermalogica après chaque visite en magasin.
- Respecter l’horaire établi par le/la gestionnaire de compte Sephora afin de répondre aux attentes de Dermalogica quant à la fréquence des visites en magasin. Tout conflit d’horaire doit être communiqué rapidement (dans les 24 à 48 heures suivant la réception de l’horaire).
- Répondre rapidement aux courriels du/de la gestionnaire de compte Sephora.
- Communiquer les préoccupations liées au magasin ou à l’inventaire au/à la gestionnaire de compte Sephora afin de soutenir les activités commerciales.
Exigences
La personne retenue devra représenter en tout temps l’image propre et professionnelle de Dermalogica. Le code vestimentaire et les normes de présentation de l’entreprise devront être respectés lors de toute représentation de la marque en magasin.
Ce poste exige :
- La capacité de rester debout pendant de longues périodes.
- La capacité de soulever des charges lourdes.
- La capacité de transporter du matériel et de l’équipement.
Conditions de travail :
- Poste à temps partiel, jusqu’à 20 heures par semaine.
- Disponibilité requise du jeudi au dimanche.
Qualifications
- Bilinguisme obligatoire (français et anglais).
- Minimum de deux ans d’expérience démontrée en vente au détail dans le secteur du luxe ou de la beauté.
- Une expérience dans l’environnement de vente Sephora constitue un atout.
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication.
- Énergie, enthousiasme et passion pour l’industrie des soins de la peau.
- Aisance à développer un réseau de contacts.
- Flexibilité et capacité d’adaptation à diverses situations.
- Permis de conduire valide et accès à un véhicule.
- Disponibilité requise du jeudi au dimanche.
