• Provide first‑line support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and user accounts
• Support Windows workstations and basic Linux tasks
• Assist with Active Directory / Entra user and group management
• Maintain and support basic network and VPN issues
• Assist with Cisco networking equipment and pfSense / OPNsense firewalls
• Support virtual machines in VMware and Proxmox environment
• Build and maintaining automation scripts in Linux and Powershell
• Document issues, fixes, and standard procedures

• Exposure to Azure and GCP cloud platforms
• Understanding of networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, routing etc)
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Linux operating systems
• General PC hardware and software troubleshooting skills
• Introductory experience or coursework with AD, firewalls and virtualization
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Good customer‑service skills
• Minimum 1-2 years of related experience, internship experience, or relevant technical education.

• Exposure to Intune, or Cisco networking
• Entry‑level certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)

At DeSimone Consulting Engineering, we’re committed to transparency—especially when it comes to compensation. The salary range listed reflects what we believe, in good faith, is a fair and competitive range for this role based on the market and location.

The hourly hiring range for this role is anticipated to be $29.00 - $36.00 dependent upon experience and qualifications. Most candidates are typically hired near the midpoint of the range, ensuring a balanced and equitable approach across our team.

That said, we recognize exceptional talent. In cases where a candidate brings significantly more experience or specialized expertise than required, we may consider an offer toward the higher end of the range. We’re excited you’re considering DeSimone and look forward to learning more about you.
