Responsibilities

  • General maintenance, repairs, services, and diagnosis primarily on Toyota vehicles.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle issues
  • Execute repair order tasks efficiently and accurately, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards and customer expectation.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify additional safety or service needs, provide accurate recommendations based on assessments and scheduled maintenance intervals.
  • Documentation of all findings, inspection results, and service actions proficiently in compliance with company and manufacturer policies.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately with other team members to ensure a smooth servicing process.
  • Road testing vehicles as required to identify concerns and ensure quality control
  • Remain update to date on product knowledge, manufacturer updates, bulletins and recalls, and technical training.
  • Maintain a clean, presentable, and safe working area in line with company standards.
  • Maintain efficiency standards in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Must have valid Red Seal Technician certification
  • Prior history and knowledge with Toyota vehicles considered an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Have a valid British Columbia driver's license.
  • Be capable of driving manual transmission vehicles. 
  • Follow published diagnostic and repair procedures to ensure safe and accurate completion of repairs.
  • Willingness to adhere to departmental, company, and manufacturer policies and procedures.
  • Commitment to providing a consistently high level of customer service.
