QA Lead (Remote)

Role & responsibilities

4+ years of Software Test experience in Telecommunications Networks
Responsible for Architecture, Automation, and Feature testing based on native principles
Ownership of SW Test Architecture at the System component level
Hands-on knowledge of a broad array of cloud-native technologies and operability concepts. Ability to comprehend complex technical problems and create pragmatic solutions.
High proficiency in Testing Automation languages platforms and practices.
Expert Programmer using Python / Automation Framework / nodeJS / React/ Angular and related Tools in a Linux environment
Expert in Test Design and Development using Native Principles with strong Analytical and Debugging skills
Hands-on Experience with  Microservices, Containers, and Virtualization Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Databases, Open Source Integration, CSF, Operability and Serviceability Domain, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.
Work independently, deploying, testing, and troubleshooting SAS-based application
Leading the end-to-end testing of Features
Willing to work in a lean and extremely agile environment/start-up work culture to achieve stiff and challenging targets
Team player with proven ability to work in a diverse team environment
Experience in cross-team technical interface management.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide array of stakeholders and technical experts throughout the company and outside partners
Interface with key customers to explain design approaches and solution elements
Ability to manage customer escalations caused by outages or product defects
Track record of creating high-quality work and delivering results on time.
Candidate should be willing to work in overlapping timeframes with US time zones.

Lead & perform development activities of medium/high complexity features. Create design specs - basic/small scope/less complex. Support peers in completing tasks within their own area(s) of expertise. Lead technical discussions with peers to resolve identified issues in their own area(s) of expertise. Improves existing processes & solutions. Owns small/medium features.
