Residential Loan Processor

Dieterich Bank is looking for a Residential Loan Processor to add to our corporate team in Effingham, IL!

Essential Duties:

1. Process residential mortgage loans under various programs in a quality consistent with all company policies and procedures as well as meeting all regulatory requirements.
2. Monitors and ensure closing dates and company deadlines are met.
3. Produce loan documents accurately and in a timely manner by using Encompass, LaserPro, or other bank programs.
4. Prepare accurate early disclosures documents and closing documents.
5. Obtains and reviews necessary loan documentation and submits complete packages to underwriting for loan approval.
6. Obtains and verifies that all underwriting conditions are received and cleared by the underwriter and prepares the file for submission to the closing department.
7. Follow-up on missing information when necessary.
8. Review loan files for accuracy.
9. Communicate with loan officers and underwriters to ensure documents are accurate.
10. Communicate with third parties (title companies, employers, buyers, sellers, etc.)
11. Notify the relevant parties when the loan processing is complete.

Work Schedule:

This position requires 40 hours each week with work typically being completed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Weekend and evenings are required when the workload is heavy. Potential travel for training if the opportunity presents itself.

Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required
2. Associate's degree or higher in business, finance, or related field preferred
3. 1-3 years of experience working in an administrative position
4. Experience with the banking or financial industry and residential loans preferred
