As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will provide high-quality recruitment sourcing and operational support to an Australian Delivery and Talent Acquisition function. You will partner closely with Delivery, People and Culture, Sales, and Hiring Managers to support efficient recruitment processes, positive candidate experiences, and effective stakeholder engagement throughout the hiring lifecycle.

This role requires strong communication, responsiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage recruitment activities across multiple vacancies and stakeholder groups.

You will be working with a customer-focused data engineering and business consulting organisation that helps clients shape their data strategies, build modern data platforms, and access specialist technology talent through advisory, professional services, and on-demand solutions. The organisation values professionalism, strong communication, and the ability to represent the business effectively in a client-facing consulting environment.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.

  • Experience recruiting within technology, consulting, or professional services is highly regarded.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities.

  • Confidence engaging with candidates and stakeholders by telephone and video.

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

  • Ability to engage technical stakeholders by asking relevant, experience-based questions.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience.

  • Consistently achieving recruitment delivery and shortlist turnaround targets.

  • Delivering strong qualified-candidate conversion rates.

  • Maintaining positive candidate feedback and engagement outcomes.

  • Ensuring accurate and timely recruitment records, administration, and reporting.

  • Contributing to improvements in recruitment processes and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Delivery leaders to understand hiring requirements, priorities, and recruitment timelines.

  • Work with Hiring Managers and internal stakeholders to define staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.

  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, talent databases, professional networks, and other relevant channels.

  • Conduct initial candidate screening and qualification interviews by telephone or video.

  • Prepare clear candidate summaries and shortlist recommendations for Hiring Managers.

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, Hiring Managers, and other internal stakeholders.

  • Prepare shortlisted candidates for internal and client interviews where required.

  • Maintain regular candidate communication and engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

  • Support offer management and candidate communications in partnership with People and Culture.

  • Assist with onboarding coordination and the collection of pre-employment documentation.

  • Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records within applicant tracking and recruitment systems.

  • Build and maintain talent pools to support current and future hiring requirements.

  • Conduct market mapping and competitor talent research to strengthen sourcing strategies.

  • Provide recruitment activity reports and pipeline updates to key stakeholders.

  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with internal policies, processes, and employment requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency, sourcing effectiveness, and candidate experience.

  • Support employer-branding and talent-engagement initiatives through digital platforms and virtual recruitment activities.

  • Maintain agreed service levels, communication standards, and professional stakeholder relationships.
