Sales Support Specialist, UK – 12 months FTC

Role location: Remote (UK based)

This position is part of the Commercial Partnerships & Enablement Department, and while remote, it may require attendance at occasional business meetings in our Manchester office.

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our Managed Services UK and Ireland team on a 12 months fixed term contract. As Sales Support Specialist at Hologic, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong partnerships with our customers, both internally and externally, ensuring seamless contract management, and delivering exceptional service throughout the contract lifecycle.

 We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, enjoy building strong partnerships and have a passion for delivering exceptional service. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support complex contract management and assist in optimizing supplier relationships by contributing to team activities 
  • Foster and maintain trusted relationships at all levels, present data clearly using appropriate tools
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure smooth operations
  • Support complaint management through documentation and resolution activities, escalating issues when needed, and working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Understanding of B2B selling environments, including both public and private sector contexts
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of contract management and supplier relationships
  • Awareness of sales transaction processes and the workflow for engaging with  suppliers
  • Understanding the basics of complaint management and resolution procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teamwork between field-based Sales teams, and office-based support teams
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a results-driven environment
  • Proactive in pursuing continuous improvement opportunities; with a desire to learn more by analysing past performance to determine where things could be enhanced
