Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Technician IV is responsible for performing regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on machinery and equipment. Duties also include troubleshooting, root cause analysis, installing new equipment, and recommending improvements.

*Please note, this is a 3rd shift position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00PM to 12:30AM.*

• Complying with health and safety regulations
• Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment
• Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance
• Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals
• Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
• Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed
• Operating a variety of hand and power tools
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Performing general maintenance work on buildings, as assigned
• Read and comply with work orders concerning PMs, modification or installation of machinery
• Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment
• Performs all other duties as designated by Management

Essential Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the competencies (minimum knowledge, skill, and ability) required. • 5+ years of industrial maintenance, required
• 5 years of Digital Machine experience
• Prior use of hand tools and specialized tools (welding, precision, manual and semi-automated machines)
• Expert ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Expert mechanical knowledge (motors, bearings, rollers, sprockets, etc.)
• Expert pneumatics knowledge
• Intermediate electrical systems knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of computerized systems (CMMS)

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) proficiency is required.
• Attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team atmosphere
• Demonstrated ability to closely adhere to all instructions, WOs, SOP's, policies and procedures required
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended amount of time
• Ability to act competently in emergencies
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving skills
