PrismHR is the HR, payroll, and benefits platform used by employer-services organizations across the United States, backed by Vensure Employer Solutions.
As Technical Manager you will lead multiple scrum teams — typically three to four — delivering on our .NET Core and React platform. You own delivery: sequencing, dependencies, risk, and the honest conversations about what will and will not land. You also own the people: growth, feedback, and building a team that engineers want to stay on, which in this market is a competitive advantage rather than a nicety.
This is deliberately not a role that has stopped being technical. You will make architecture and design calls with your leads, review approaches, and stay credible in a code review. If you want a purely process-facing management seat, this will frustrate you.
You will work directly with product management on scope and priority, with architecture on technical direction, and with QA and DevOps on release quality. And you will be accountable for a product being genuinely finished — built, released, adopted, and supported — rather than for a set of sprints closing on time.
- Demonstrated experience leading 3–4 scrum teams concurrently
- A product you took through complete execution — from planning to release and adoption, not just a phase of it
- Strong hands-on grounding in .NET Core, C#, ReactJS, SQL Server, and API design
- Real people leadership: direct reports, performance and growth ownership, hiring involvement
- Ability to make and defend technical decisions with architects and senior engineers
- Clear communication with product management, engineering leadership, and stakeholders
Nice to have: Azure and CI/CD ownership · payroll, benefits, or HCM domain knowledge · experience managing across time zones · modernization or migration programs · experience growing a team through hiring.
The schedule: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST, Monday to Friday. Not a night shift — your final hours overlap the start of the US East Coast working day, which is when planning and prioritization conversations with US leadership happen. Your mornings are your own.
Competitive compensation at management level, health coverage, learning support, and real ownership of both delivery and the team that does it. Apply now.
