Position Summary

The Underground Laborer - Utilities plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utility systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the excavation and backfilling of trenches for utility installation. Operate hand and power tools to aid in the installation and repair of underground utilities. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of tools and equipment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Previous experience in construction or utility work. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in underground utility work. Certification in first aid and CPR. physical stamina and the ability to operate various tools safely and effectively utilize their teamwork skills to collaborate with other laborers and skilled tradespeople ensuring that projects are completed efficiently. Attention to detail is essential for following safety protocols and performing tasks accurately. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of safety regulations, will enhance the laborer's ability to contribute to a safe work environment. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions. Valid driver's license
