Divergent is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Site Access & Facilities Coordinator to oversee daily Facilities visitors and contractors while supporting the overall functionality of our advanced manufacturing campus. This role serves as the first point of contact for Facilities Department visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring secure facility access, exceptional workplace experience, and efficient coordination of facilities services.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and can effectively balance security, administrative, and facilities responsibilities. This individual partners closely with Facilities, Security, IT, EH&S, Human Resources, and Production teams to maintain a safe, secure, and professional workplace supporting next-generation aerospace and automotive manufacturing.
- Manage contractor and visitor access across the Divergent facility.
- Verify visitor registrations and ensure visitors complete required security and safety procedures.
- Coordinate contractor access and ensure required documentation, training, and approvals are completed prior to site entry.
- Monitor access requests and visitors and respond promptly to badge issues or access concerns
- Provide a professional and welcoming experience for all visitors.
- Occasionally support company events, customer visits, executive meetings, and facility tours.
- Coordinate day-to-day facility requests and work orders.
- Assist with office moves, workstation setup, furniture requests, and workspace changes.
- Coordinate repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, landscaping, and other building services.
- Monitor office, breakroom, and common area supplies and replenish inventory as needed.
- Assist with facility inspections and maintain organized workplace standards.
- Schedule vendors and contractors performing facility maintenance or improvement work.
- Verify contractor insurance, documentation, and safety compliance before site access.
- Coordinate service appointments with internal stakeholders.
- Track vendor performance and maintain service records.
Requirements

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in facilities coordination, office administration, workplace operations, reception, or security administration.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee and facility information.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, defense, or industrial environments.
- Experience with electronic access control or badge management systems.
- Familiarity with workplace management or facility ticketing systems (CMMS or IWMS).
- Experience coordinating vendors and contractors.
- Knowledge of OSHA workplace safety practices.
- Experience supporting executive visits or customer tours.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional verbal and written communication.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and dependable.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Commitment to workplace safety, security, and operational excellence.
- Primarily shop floor based with regular walking throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, and moving between buildings or production areas.
- Ability to respond quickly to workplace emergencies or facility needs.
