~1 min read- Plan and execute CRM campaigns for the US subscriber base, including send planning, content development and adaptation, audience coordination, timing, and channel selection.
- Manage email as the primary CRM channel today and support the introduction of push, in-app, and other channels for the US audience.
- Maintain an accurate campaign calendar and coordinate dependencies so activity launches on time and to a consistently high standard.
Adapt Activation for the US Market-
- Translate centrally developed lifecycle strategy, segmentation, and campaigns into activity that reflects US audience needs, seasonality, tone, and market context.
- Serve as the primary connection point to London on what is working, what is not, and what the US market needs.
- Support the US Acquisition team with activation execution when dedicated capacity is needed, aligning priorities with the Director of Subscription Growth.
- Own the day-to-day relationship with Legal on US data-protection, consent, and marketing-permission requirements, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and CCPA/CPRA.
- Build compliance requirements into campaign planning and execution rather than treating them as a final-stage review.
- Maintain clear processes and documentation to support compliant, consistent activation across channels.
- Monitor CRM engagement, retention, churn, and acquisition-activation results and use performance data to improve future activity.
- Partner with CRM, Customer Intelligence, and Analytics teams to evaluate campaign performance and identify actionable audience insights.
- Develop a practical testing cadence across content, timing, segmentation, offers, and channels, and apply learnings across the US program.
- At least four years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, marketing activation, or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on experience building and executing customer campaigns, preferably across email and at least one additional owned channel.
- Experience adapting centralized or global marketing strategies for a local market.
- Working knowledge of US marketing-compliance requirements, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and CCPA/CPRA.
- Strong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders, and deadlines.
- Strong analytical judgment and the ability to turn campaign results into practical improvements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively across US and international teams.
- Experience in subscriptions, media, publishing, or another high-volume consumer business is preferred.
During your first 90 days, you will:
- Assume ownership of live US CRM campaign execution and establish a clear forward campaign calendar.
- Complete a review of current US CRM activity, processes, performance, and channel readiness, identifying the most immediate opportunities and risks.
- Establish an effective working model with Legal for US marketing compliance and confirm how requirements are incorporated into campaign planning and approvals.
- Agree priorities and ways of working with the CRM and Customer Intelligence teams in London and the US Acquisition team.
- Present a practical testing and optimization roadmap across content, timing, segmentation, offers, and channels.
