Position Summary:
The Group Lead will provide day-to-day leadership and support for the Production team to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent execution of production activities within a high-mix, low volume semiconductor fabrication laboratory. Coordinate daily priorities, monitor workflow and WIP, support team members, and work closely with cross-functional organizations to resolve issues and meet production and delivery goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day direction and support to Production Engineers and Technicians.
• Assign and prioritize work based on production schedules, WIP levels, and business priorities.
• Monitor production flow, cycle time, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor wafer processing HOLD/delays, follow up on missing instructions, materials, inspections, and other constraints.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to team members.
• Maintain accurate training records and timekeeping.
• Communicate priorities, status, and issues between shifts and management.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, safety, and a positive work environment.
• Work with program teams and process modules to develop fabrication process routes within a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) context.
Required Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in the physical sciences or engineering.
• 5+ years of nanofabrication process engineering experience with expertise in one of the basic process engineering disciplines such as lithography, etch, deposition, etc.
• Software skills – Microsoft Office Suite: Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in essential nanofabrication metrologies and data analysis.
• Organizational and Leadership skills required to lead a group of technicians and engineers on a daily basis.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing systems such as MES is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to work safely in laboratory settings and Class 10 (ISO-4) cleanroom environment.
Special Requirements:
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours
