Summary Join Dolby Laboratories and support a world‑class People function during a critical period of growth and operational focus. This temporary People (HR) Administrator role is designed to be approximately 50% HR Operations and 50% Benefits Administration, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, process discipline, and employee experience. In this role, you will provide hands‑on administrative and coordination support across the employee lifecycle while partnering closely with the Global Benefits team (US‑based) and regional stakeholders. You will be a key contributor ensuring HR processes, benefits administration, and documentation are executed consistently, on time, and in compliance with local and global standards. Key Responsibilities HR Operations (Approximately 50%) * Provide day‑to‑day HR administrative support across core People Operations processes. * Manage onboarding and offboarding administration, including documentation, system updates, checklists, and coordination with internal partners. * Prepare employment verification letters, travel letters, and other standard HR documentation in a timely and accurate manner. * Own document creation, filing, and records management, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data privacy requirements. * Support maintenance of HR systems and shared files, ensuring data accuracy and audit readiness. * Respond to employee and stakeholder inquiries related to HR processes, escalating issues as appropriate. Benefits Administration (Approximately 50%) * Partner with the Global Benefits Leader (United States) to support global benefits administration activities. * Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for global benefits processes. * Organize, consolidate, and maintain shared benefits administration files and documentation across regions. * Coordinate benefits vendor invoicing for multiple countries, working with local vendors and the Dolby Finance team to ensure invoices are accurate, approved, and processed on time. * Track and report on benefit program costs and participation/engagement metrics, supporting data‑driven decision making. * Provide administrative support for global benefits programs, including the global baby gift program. Required Skills & Qualifications * Prior experience in HR administration and/or benefits administration, with working knowledge of the employee lifecycle (onboarding through offboarding). * Strong attention to detail and proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. * Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across time zones. * Collaborative and service‑oriented mindset, with a genuine commitment to delivering a positive employee experience. * Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working with global stakeholders. * Comfortable following defined processes while also helping improve documentation and operational clarity. Work Requirements * Ability to work from the Dolby Bangalore office at least three days per week. * Flexibility to meet regularly with stakeholders in the United States, China, Poland, Ireland, and Germany, which may require working outside standard local business hours. * This is a temporary role, with responsibilities focused on operational execution and benefits support.
