Your Opportunity
Dolby is looking for a Senior Manager, AI Enablement and Automation to help business teams solve high-value problems through AI, automation, low-code tools, and intelligent workflow design.
This role will lead a business-facing solutions team focused on identifying opportunities, designing practical solutions, and helping teams adopt scalable, governed AI-enabled workflows. The role builds on Dolby’s existing automation foundation, while expanding beyond traditional process automation into AI-enabled solutions, agents, low-code applications, and reusable solution patterns.
The role will focus heavily on enabling business outcomes through the Microsoft AI ecosystem, while partnering with platform owners and Enterprise Applications teams to ensure solutions are secure, supportable, and aligned with Dolby’s broader technology strategy.
This is not a platform operations role. It is a solution enablement role that translates business needs into practical, governed AI and automation solutions, using Microsoft capabilities where they are the right fit and partnering across IT when other enterprise platforms are better suited.
What You’ll Do
* Lead Dolby’s AI enablement and automation solutions team, with a focus on helping business teams solve high-value problems through scalable, governed AI and automation solutions.
* Own the roadmap and delivery model for enterprise automation opportunities, including the transition from traditional RPA-led delivery toward Microsoft-based AI, low-code, agents, and workflow automation approaches.
* Establish an operating model for intake, prioritization, delivery, adoption, support, and value measurement of AI-enabled automation opportunities.
* Partner with business teams to identify pain points, clarify requirements, map current-state processes, and redesign workflows using AI, automation, low-code tools, agents, and enterprise platforms.
* Work closely with Microsoft platform owners, Enterprise Applications, IT Security, Legal, and the AI Center of Excellence to ensure solutions are secure, compliant, supportable, and aligned with Dolby’s broader technology strategy.
* Drive practical use of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio, as important platforms for AI-enabled automation and business solutions, in partnership with the teams that own and support those platforms.
* Build reusable solution patterns, templates, playbooks, governance practices, and enablement materials that allow Dolby to scale automation responsibly.
* Lead and develop a team that may include automation engineers, Power Platform developers, and business systems analysts.
* Help define when work should be delivered centrally, enabled through citizen development, or routed to existing platform/application teams, with appropriate guardrails and support.
* Educate and advise business stakeholders on what is possible with AI-enabled automation, while helping them make practical, responsible, and outcome-focused choices.
* Measure the value of AI and automation initiatives through business impact, adoption, efficiency, quality, risk reduction, and employee experience.
* Stay current on Microsoft AI capabilities and broader automation trends, translating new capabilities into practical enterprise use cases.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience leading teams focused on business process improvement, automation, low-code development, AI-enabled solutions, digital transformation, or enterprise workflow modernization.
* Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, especially Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft 365, with the ability to partner effectively with platform owners and support teams.
* Experience translating ambiguous business problems into practical solution approaches, including requirements gathering, process design, solution delivery, testing, adoption, and support models.
* Experience with AI-enabled workflows, intelligent automation, agents, or applied generative AI in an enterprise environment.
* Strong understanding of governance, standards, access controls, supportability, and operating models for low-code/no-code platforms, citizen development, or AI-enabled automation.
* Ability to work across business and technical stakeholders, building alignment between business needs, platform capabilities, security requirements, and long-term maintainability.
* Strong judgment on when to use Microsoft tools versus when another platform or enterprise system is better suited.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and advise business leaders on practical tradeoffs.
* Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, build structure, and create scalable ways of working in a fast-moving technology environment.
* A pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset that prioritizes business value, responsible delivery, and enterprise scalability over tool preference.
