North America
The Sales Enablement Specialist, Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while enabling efficient, accurate, and scalable sales operations. This role combines customer interaction, consultative selling, operational sales support, technical assistance, and data management in a fast-paced commercial environment.
The position partners closely with Sales Account Managers, customers, and internal stakeholders to improve execution, strengthen customer satisfaction, and support sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Interaction & Sales Support (Core Focus)
* Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner.
* Engage customers using a consultative selling approach to understand needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Support sales objectives by working toward defined performance goals, including call efficiency, quality resolution, and sales closure metrics.
* Act as a reliable first point of contact, ensuring accurate information and positive customer experiences.
* Sales Process & Operations Management (High Emphasis)
* Support sales forecasting activities and contribute to monthly and quarterly sales reporting.
* Participate in daily and quarterly pricing processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with commercial governance.
* Manage invoice corrections and provide clear explanations to customers as required.
* Maintain accurate CRM opportunity records and support rebate data entry and reconciliation.
* Data Management & Reporting
* Maintain and update customer and sales records to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
* Perform basic data analysis to support sales optimization, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure timely, accurate reporting across assigned sales and customer activities.
* Technical & Product Support
* Assist customers with technical inquiries related to products, applications, and use cases.
* Support and conduct product demonstrations as required, in coordination with Sales and Technical teams.
* Serve as a knowledgeable resource connecting customer needs to appropriate technical and product solutions.
* Sampling & Customer Collaboration
* Coordinate and manage customer sampling programs (e.g., Toxins, Enzymes).
* Work closely with customers to collect, document, and validate sample-related data.
* Ensure sampling insights are accurately captured to support internal analysis and customer decision-making.
* Performance & Continuous Development
* Operate against clearly defined performance metrics and service-level expectations.
* Participate in regular 1:1 coaching, feedback, and development discussions.
* Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, customer experience, and personal performance.

You Bring:
* Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent professional experience.
* Prior experience in sales, customer service, or sales support roles preferred.
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, and PowerPoint.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location.
