The Senior Technician QC Device will assure dsm-firmenich products meet consistent & high quality by: assisting in the operation and development of Quality Inspection functions for dsm-firmenich. Maintain accurate and timely inspection of current products while following all customer requirements and established in dsm-firmenich procedures. Ensure all dsm-firmenich products are of a high quality by: Process control testing, WIP inspections and tests and conducting standard quality testing on equipment and products. Maintain and organize data in a manner that is compliant with GLPs and GMPs within a Cleanroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Within a Manufacturing Cleanroom setting the Senior Technician II Operations Inspectorassists other Technicians/Inspectors in daily asks to insure proper inspection techniques and dsm-firmenich QC procedures are followed.
* Interface with engineers, productions team members and area management as needed to provide a continuous working environment.
* Perform any and all necessary in-process testing including but not limited to Peel Testing, Label Inspections, Component Testing, Etc.
* Aid in continually monitoring, inspecting, or testing all WIP for material specification and process conformance.
* Complete and maintain all required documentation in association with testing or inspecting of dsm-firmenich products.
* Respond with flexibility to changes in production or personnel.
* Perform all operations in accordance with dsm-firmenich Standard Operating Procedures.
* Act in accordance with GMPs and provide feedback to management regarding areas of non-compliance.
* Gives input to OOS investigations (NCR) with oversite from the Sr. Operations Inspector, Technical Lead, Engineer and/or Production Supervisor.
* Provide support to other areas of the Department.
* Adhere to dsm-firmenich Biomedical Quality System procedures regarding ISO 9001and/or 13485 standards.
* Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
* Complete other tasks as assigned by Sr. QC Technician and/or QC Manager

You Bring:
* High school graduate or equivalent. Some college preferred.
* Minimum 1-3 years precision mechanical measurement experience and must demonstrate inspection and testing responsibilities.
* Must have good written and oral communications skills, computer literacy, and a good standard knowledge of units of measure.
* Basis knowledge of drawings, work instructions and part specifications.
* Ability to work with inspection or test equipment
* Ability to work in Cleanroom Environment.
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location.
