As our Supply Chain Associate Manager for our HNC South Africa business, you will manage all supply chain operations at our Isando site, driving efficiency and service excellence for our customers.
You will lead a team of 4 direct reports, and will lead on raw materials planning, finish goods production planning, order management and Market Ready Solutions (MRS) operations.
You will see employees assure accurate and timely deliveries of finished goods to customers, managing inventory and maximizing manufacturing efficiencies.

Your key responsibilities
* Implement HNC EMEA supply chain strategy, policies and good practices in local structure
* Manages and supports local supply chain team in wide area of operation: order management and finished goods
* Production output optimization by supervising production planning with special focus on sequencing, dry cleaning
* Ensure proper information flow by collecting information from site to give good overview of order status management to Customer Care and Sales teams
* Ensure proper raw materials planning based on demand patterns and forecasts. Providing proper level of inventory, securing production running
* Stimulate supply chain process improvements and optimization whilst meeting agreed customer service levels
* Supports site troubleshooting
* Ensuring compliance with management directives
* Managing the team by: translate company strategy into team and individual goals, organize tasks and responsibilities to achieve the goals and ensure efficiency. Provide guidance. Identify training and development needs and support career development. Foster dsm-firmenich values and behaviors

You bring
* Proven experience in supply chain management, ideally within an international and matrix organization.
* Self-driven, high learning agility, attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication, organizational skills, past experience and ability to lead and develop a team.
* Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
* Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, production planning, and inventory management.
* Fluency in English.
