Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Dynamic Sealing Technologies, Inc. (DSTI) of Andover, MN is looking to hire a full-time Shipping and Receiving Coordinator.

Duties of a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Safely operate a forklift and hoist to load and unload materials being received or shipped from our facility
• Prepare, ship and arrange transport of parts and materials to and from local vendors
• Use our internal Epicor ERP system as well as external web-based software systems to properly track and ship parts and materials
• Verify and keep accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepare global shipping documents along with the correct mailing labels and ensure that all paperwork is processed according to established procedures
• Prepare items for shipment with proper packaging methods
• Accurately import goods from various vendors from around the world while working with an import broker
• Arrange for efficient and cost-effective transportation of products
• Perform warehouse duties such as cycle counting and troubleshooting inventory discrepancies
• Create and modify work instructions that pertain to this job using Microsoft Word
• Provide suggestions for improvement both within the department and throughout the company

Qualifications of a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

• High school diploma or GED (must also be age 18+)
• 1-3+ years of previous experience in a shipping and/or receiving role is required
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities with tight deadlines

We also provide training and internal certification on high-risk equipment such as forklifts. Must be willing to obtain and maintain these certifications.

This Shipping and Receiving Coordinator position pays a competitive hourly wage based on experience. This is a direct hire opportunity. Flexible Work Schedule

This is a full-time position on first shift. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm with some flexibility.
